About

MY BACKGROUND

Tung Khuat received a Degree of Engineer (with Honors) in Software Engineering from the University of Science and Technology, Danang, Vietnam in 2014 and a Ph.D. degree in Analytics (Data Science) at the School of Computer Science, Faculty of Engineering and IT, University of Technology Sydney, Australia in 2021. He currently works as a Research Associate at the Complex Adaptive Systems Lab, The Data Science Institute, University of Technology Sydney.

 

Tung is an experienced researcher and software engineer with a demonstrated history of working in both academia and industry. He has good skills in C/C++, Java, .NET, Matlab, and Python programming. His research interests include machine learning, fuzzy systems, knowledge discovery, evolutionary computation, intelligent optimization techniques, and applications in software engineering. He has authored and co-authored over 30 peer-reviewed publications in the areas of machine learning and computational intelligence. He is also a Member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and a Member of the IEEE Computational Intelligence Society.

Tung has previously been a Senior software engineer at the FPT Software Company, Vietnam, has been a research assistant at the University of Danang on Software Effort Estimation using Intelligent Computational Algorithms, and has been a research assistant at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore on Graph Pattern Mining.
